Quick Start Guide

Step 1: Connect with QuickBooks

To use TaxBridge, you'll need to authenticate and connect your QuickBooks Online account:

  1. Click the Connect with QuickBooks button on the landing page
  2. Sign in to your Intuit/QuickBooks account when prompted
  3. Authorize TaxBridge to access your QuickBooks data
  4. Select the business(es) you want to connect
  5. Complete your TaxBridge profile with any additional required information

Step 2: Sync Your Data

Once connected, you'll need to sync your QuickBooks data:

  1. Go to the Data tab in the navigation
  2. Click Fetch Data to start the synchronization process
  3. Wait for the sync to complete (this may take a few minutes depending on your data volume)

Step 3: Review Your Reports

After syncing, review the generated reports:

  1. Go to the Reports tab
  2. Switch between Cash and Accrual basis as needed
  3. Review the financial summaries and detailed reports

Step 4: Export for Tax Filing

When you're ready to file your taxes:

  1. Go to the Exports tab
  2. Select your preferred export format (TXF for TurboTax or CSV)
  3. Download the file and import it into your tax software
